On Wednesday March 9, the Colorado Chapter of the Business Marketing Association dinner meeting at the Wellshire Inn, featured Heather Teskey, Chief Marketing Officer, Hallmark Business Connection. The presentation titled “Getting to the Heart of Strategy Through Innovation” detailed how Hallmark Business Connection partnered with Kansas City Power & Light to implement a Customer Care program using Hallmark cards to engage customers and employees one card at a time. When call center employees were solving with customer problems they were able to follow up with a personal card expressing a caring message that was delivered within two or three days. This then engaged the employee as an ambassador of the company and left the customer feeling the company is caring.
