Creative Connections Members Learn About Crowd Funding at First Friday Meeting

Creative Connections, the largest creative networking group in the country, held their monthly first Friday meeting at the Innovation Pavilion on February 5. Crowd funding and how to kick-start your business was the topic presented by two speakers. STAN YAN, Zombie caricature artist, reviewed how he used crowd funding twice to produce his zombie comic book style publications. The latest is a children’s story “There is a Zombie in the Basement”. Learn more at zombicatures.com.

KARL DAKIN, Colorado Capital Congress, detailed some of the rules, source and methods of crowd funding. Two recent changes in the law make it possible for raise from $2-5million through crowd funding. Dakin also holds seminars on crowed funding.
